HOW TO READ NEWS ON FACEBOOK WITHOUT LETTING EVERYONE KNOW ON FACEBOOK

Don't share while reading news
You’ve probably already come across a popular Facebook application for newspaperslike the Independent, The Guardian, The Huffington Post, The Washington Post and Yahoo News. When a friend of ours read an article using one of these applications you see that activity on their wall informing us that he / she has read that article…
Driven by curiosity, we click on a headline so we may to read the article but we are caught by a surprise when we must first add the application of that news company, otherwise we can not read the article. If we accept, the consequence is that the application for that article, and any other future article on that news outlet, will automatically inform (and without asking us) all our friends that we’ve read an article and everyone will know that we read the news … long live confidentiality.
The good news is you can now bypass these news applications and read every article without necessarily sharing it to all our friends on Facebook. Frictionless is an extension for Google Chrome that allows you to skip the step for application authorization, and go directly to this article.
The extension was launched recently, and from time to time each application developers are adding news. To add it to Chrome (not available for other browsers) you just go here and click on install. From now on, the next time you’ll see a news story “Tom has read on —- —” try to click on and you should be redirected directly to the article.
