Only recently has this been on Facebook, a new approach that allows you to be alerted whenever you log on (with your login and password) from a computer other than your own.
So if your mischievous little friend stole your password and logged on pretending to be you, or you suspect that someone else is using your login to Facebook as well as, I advise you tochange your password as soon as possible (go here and click on “change” next password)here is how to set security access to be alerted to your account from different computers:
- Click here to go to the Settings page of your account
- Click edit to the right of “Account Security” and the question you want to receive notifications relating to access of new devices? Reply YES
- Click “submit”From this moment you will receive an email when a new computer will need to login with your login information, you can also be alerted via SMS. Remember, the first logout & login Facebook will ask you to name your computer to register it as safe.
